I found this adorable book on the internet today and it made me start thinking. My daughter is now 10 years old (can you believe she was 2 when I started the
Quote the Walls journey) and her childhood and innocence is passing by me. I spend alot of time with her but I am not sure how well, I know her thoughts, her goals, her passions and what she is thinking about in her bedroom while playing American Girl doll.
So, Stephanie at
Somewhat Simple has come up with the perfect idea journal for every child. No matter the age. Make one every year and store them for when your child is an adult. Help them remember their childhood through thier eyes and remember what they were passionate about at 10 years old. If they accomplished their goals and if they are being true to who they were. I just purchased this book and I cannot wait to bind it and give it my budding artist, animal lover, American girl lover, giggle goose.
The book is called "Life, According to Me" and here is the link to find out more.
Somewhat Simple. Tell Stephanie that Rebecca at
Quote the Walls sent you. I cannot wait to see what my little girl has to say about life.
